Description:
This Tracker add-on lowers the case of the names of files and folders. For instance, some zip files made on DOS will expand all of it's files and folders as all UPPERCASE letters. INSTALLATION: Unzip Lowercase.zip and drop the file Lowercase onto the symbolic link to the /boot/home/config/add-ons/Tracker folder that is located in the Lowercase folder. Updated again, because it is useful, but it also had a small bug which prevented it from properly recursing the directory structure if you selected a folder of items. Also, I'd like to thank Chris Herborth for the tip he gave me on the Makefile, and Eric Shepherd for his providing a skeleton Makefile. DANGER! This program is A LOADED GUN! The BeOS is cAsE sEnSeTiVe, that means each character is recognized individually as to whether or not it is capitalized. If you are not careful, and you execute it on the wrong file or folder, that selection may get "hidden" from something else on the system because it's characters are not in their original form. ___________________________________________ Peter Schultz <peschult@badlands.nodak.edu> BeForever <http://www.beforever.com/> Lowercase is public domain, and no warranties apply.
