System Bug Report Form

Use this form to report potential bugs in the Be System, both hardware and software.

It's extremely helpful if you are as specific as possible in your bug report, as well as providing information about how to reproduce the bug, in as much detail as you can. Please submit each bug/feature on a separate form. There's also a checkbox which allows other people to view your bug; for more information on how this is done, visit the BeOS Bugs On-Line section.

Suggestions/bugs for the Be web site should be sent to the Webmaster; this form shouldn't be used for web site issues.

Thanks for helping us stamp out unwanted binary biology.

NOTE: Be sure to check for your bugs in the database!

Short Description:
    Reproducible?:

         Severity:

If you're reporting a bug, please enter the steps to reproduce.
Please enter a description if you're requesting a feature.
Submit each bug/feature on a separate form. Multiple bugs/features on a single form unfortunately cannot be processed.

Please feel free to allow anyone on the planet to read the information I've provided in the System Description and Bug Description sections above (along with bug number & future bug status), but not any of my personal information. (Normally, bug reports remain completely confidential with Be, in case proprietary source code is part of the bug description. Checking this box means I don't mind if everybody can read the System & Bug Description fields.)
